My goal is to guide you toward a more fulfilling life. While we can't change difficult experiences of the past, we can work together to understand those experiences and how they may have shaped your life and relationships. We will work together to change unproductive patterns, resolve or improve current challenges and find strategies to create a better future.
The primary methods of treatment I use (Therapy Methods) are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy (ST). Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior therapies help develop coping skills to manage unproductive or negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Schema Therapy is an integrative approach to overcoming deeper long standing unproductive (maladaptive) patterns of behaviors. My training as an ISST Advanced Certified Schema Therapist enables me to help clients probe and resolve their deeper core issues. If you decide to work with me, we will explore the issues holding you back in life and develop a plan that will work for you.
